We have the largest and most experienced full service corporate team in the Thames Valley. Unlike many of our competitors, all of our Corporate partners have experience of international deals and they are all rated by the legal directories as experts in their specialist fields.

Our Corporate group handles the full range of corporate work (with the exception of insolvency and related work which is handled by the Corporate Recovery group).  

The group has special expertise in transactional work.  It handles the complete range of corporate transactions with particular strength in mid-market mergers and acquisitions where it regularly handles deals in the range of £5 million to £100 million in size.

A strong benchmark of the group’s performance is its combined deal value which is currently running at nearly £400 million a year.

Clients range from start-up businesses and overseas companies setting up in the UK and Europe, growing owner-managed businesses, to large multinationals, UK listed companies, banks and other institutions.

Banks, which remain one of the most informed purchasers of legal services have become one of the strongest supporters of our Corporate group. In 2009 we were re-appointed to The Royal Bank of Scotland's banking panel and were recently added to the legal panel of Santander Corporate Banking. 

With existing panel appointments for Bank of Scotland, Bank of Ireland, Clydesdale (National Australia Bank), Allied Irish Bank and HSBC Commercial Bank, as well as our non-panel work during the past year for the likes of Lloyds TSB and Handelsbanken (the UK trading style of Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ), one of Sweden's leading banks) we are clearly in the premier league for this type of work.
