In May 2017 Boyes Turner’s Development and House Building team concluded a particularly complex and technically challenging series of transactions for our client, a leading local housing developer.
The transaction involved the acquisition of a residential development site in Buckinghamshire and simultaneous sale to another development company.
The proceeds of the sale were then used by our client, to partially fund an acquisition of another residential development site in the South East which also involved the simultaneous sale of two separate parts of that site to third parties. The team had funding arrangements to contend with, all set against the back drop of very tight timescales.
Partner Will Nassau-Lake said “This was a complex case and all credit and thanks goes to Sarah Webb, Senior Associate in the Property group, for her management of these deals and for Russell May, Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution group, for his strategic advice.”
