Boyes Turner has joined the UK Sepsis Trust which assists people and families who have been affected by sepsis.
The charity was founded in 2012 and is committed to changing the way the NHS deals with sepsis, increasing public awareness and supporting those affected by the condition. Its aim is to achieve a future where no one in the UK loses their life to sepsis.
Andrew Chalkley, partner and CEO says:
"The work that the UK Sepsis Trust does makes a huge difference to people affected by sepsis and their families. We look forward to helping the charity raise awareness of this devastating condition and ensuring that those affected by it get the help and support that they need."
Dr Ron Daniels BEM, Chief Executive of the UK Sepsis Trust and global sepsis expert:
“Sepsis has a devastating human cost. Every day in the UK, individuals and families have their lives torn apart by the condition, but better awareness could save thousands of lives each year.
"Earlier recognition and treatment of sepsis can mean hugely improved outcomes for those affected, and it’s help from key supporters like Boyes Turner that allows us to fight for better sepsis care. We’re delighted to be joining forces, and with their assistance we look forward to changing the way sepsis is handled in the UK.”
