Jonathan Grigg has joined Boyes Turner’s Dispute Resolution team as a partner and will head the litigation group. Jonathan specialises in UK and international commercial litigation, and arbitration, particularly commercial contracts and negligence disputes. He is also a pensions litigation specialist and accredited mediator.
Jonathan arrives from Shoosmiths where he was a partner in the firm’s Southampton office and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Boyes Turner Dispute Resolution team.
Acting on behalf of UK and international corporates, Jonathan has worked on numerous high value and complex claims in relation to various types of contentious matters, including warranty claims (where he advised the successful claimant in the case of Ageas v Kwik-Fit and AIG), and other issues arising out of corporate transactions, IT disputes, fraud and misuse of confidential information. Jonathan’s pensions litigation practice sees him advising both employers and scheme trustees on the full range of contentious pensions issues. His most recent reported case is Shannan v Viavi Solutions UK Ltd and others, where he represented the company.
Jonathan is top ranked as one of the South’s leading litigators by Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession and is recommended in The UK Legal 500.
