Boyes Turner has further strengthened its focus on the development and house building sector with the addition of solicitor Sara McKay.
Sara joins from the Manchester office of national firm Trowers & Hamlins where she worked on a range of development matters including site acquisitions and s.106 acquisitions. Her experience includes working on large scale land acquisitions for social housing providers and advising on related development issues. She will join partners William Nassau-Lake, Mark Appleton and Derek Ching and the existing team to work on a range of development projects relating to both residential and commercial property.
She is well respected and valued by colleagues and clients alike.
Boyes Turner’s specialism in the development and house building sector has been built over 30 years. Clients range from large national developers to independent smaller scale developers operating across the south of England. Work covers all aspects of site assembly including options and promotion agreements, land acquisition, planning advice and, through its highly experienced plot sales team, onward sales of new property.
William Nassau-Lake, co-head of the Development team said
“Our development team has been going from strength to strength in recent years, successfully gaining new clients in the development sector. We are very pleased to welcome Sara on board as this gives us further resource to be able to continue to look after our existing clients and to expand our work for developers over the next few years.”
This year the team also welcomed Laura Ford who assists the team, advising in relation to a variety of commercial and residential property disputes including landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals and dilapidations claims.
