Building Better Teams – Winning the Productivity Battle

A lack of leadership direction, demotivating bonus structures, uninspiring workplaces and poor management styles were all on the agenda at our February conference at the Madejski Stadium in Reading. The first of our 2017 public conferences focused on how organisations can build better teams by increasing productivity and make more with less. Andrew Whiteaker discussed performance management problems and also looked at 2017’s performance management trends; whilst Emma O’Connor discussed bonus issues and touched on how the new Gender Pay Gap reporting obligations will impact and highlight an organisation’s bonus payments and structures. Our key note speaker, Rosemary Ryan, ran an interactive workshop focusing on increasing productivity by improving leadership and asking us to focus on the “why”. An informative day and great to see so many of you attending and joining in the discussions.

Our next Conference is on 22 June 2017, in London, which will move to consider building better teams through managing the unmanageable, coaching and mentoring. We are thrilled to be joined by coaching and leadership providers Moving Ahead – plus some exciting key note speakers so watch this space!

Gender Pay Gap – new obligations, new training courses

Barry Stanton and Emma O’Connor ran a well attended Gender Pay Gap webinar last Thursday. There are certainly a lot of questions about the new obligations and the GPG reports relevant organisations are going to have to publish. We are providing awareness training on the new GPG Regulations as well as assistance in defining pay within your organisation and preparing the calculations and accompanying narrative.
