Role Description

Boyes Turner is seeking an experienced, commercially minded specialist family solicitor. The role requires an individual who is used to dealing with high quality work and who wants to join a forward-thinking, growing and ambitious family team. Once embedded into the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing their own client base and running their own caseload, as well as working as a team on bigger cases. Therefore, the successful candidate must be business development focused, client facing, and entrepreneurial with a passion to develop the exceptional service that the family team offers to clients.

Experience/ Attributes required

  • Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE in family law
  • Should be working for a firm known for family law, particularly with HNW clients and on complex matters
  • Possess first-class communication and client servicing skills
  • A proven record of business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
  • A transferable client base is advantageous but not essential
  • Specialist accreditations or memberships desirable but not essential

Work type:

Although this opportunity will be based around an individual’s own specialist areas, they will be expected to have a broad knowledge across all areas of private family law matters including:


  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial matters, including complex assets
  • Children matters
  • Cohabitation disputes (TOLATA and Schedule 1)
  • Cases with international features
