Europe is not only set to play a central role in the election campaign but it also plays an increasingly important one for many HR and business leaders, as they have responsibility for human resource issues across the continent. Being aware of the differences between UK employment laws and those of other countries is an important part of their role. Whilst there are similarities, these are subtle and often substantial differences which have the potential to trip up the unwary.
This year's Annual Law Lecture is a panel discussion focusing on three commonplace scenarios in the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands. We shall be considering the issues raised by:
- Changing terms and conditions
- Disciplinary and dismissal processes
as they apply in the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
We are fortunate to be joined by three leading Employment lawyers from these countries who will be taking part in the discussion, sharing their knowledge and experience and answering questions from the audience.
This event will be of particular interest and relevance to those with directorship or other executive or strategic development roles in their businesses, HR directors, legal directors and counsel.
We look forward to welcoming you.
