The government advice (10 May 2020) is still that, where we can, we should work from home. For those who cannot and it is safe to, they should be "encouraged" to return to work. Wherever your people are working, for most employers the issue of flexibility in terms of working hours or patterns of work has undoubtedly made your boardroom and management agendas, whether this is for health and safety reasons, e.g. staggered start/finish times, or to allow for childcare as schools remain closed.
Studies show that flexible working makes us more engaged and productive; but how can employers ensure that flexible working is both legally compliant whilst delivering on its objectives, whilst still fulfilling client and business demands?
Emma O'Connor, Head of Training, is joined for our June webinar by Paul Holbrook of Diary Detox to discuss what makes flexible working attractive for employees and how this can be balanced against business needs and management expectations.
In these difficult working times, this webinar will help employers to understand:
- the flexible working legal framework
- the barriers to flexible working
- what practical measures employers can put in place to allow effective flexible working
- how to create a flexible working culture
