Webinar: Annual Privilege update for In-House Lawyers
Free to attend | 09:30am Start
You and your HR colleagues are invited to join me, Emma O’Connor, for our 2023 HR Masterclass!
When asked - why should you book on this course? “Because it’s great!” came the reply - not my words, but those of one of my 2022 Masterclass Alumni!
The HR Masterclass is written and delivered specifically for HR, focusing on your role and responsibilities in guiding managers through people management policies and processes to ensure compliance. I will share my knowledge having been an employment lawyer for over 20 years and give you practical tips and techniques for managing those tricky ER issues.
Join us! Delivered over 2 days from our Reading office, the Masterclass is run in a small group to create a “classroom” feel which allows attendees to ask questions or go over topics in greater detail. It’s also your opportunity to meet like-minded HR professionals who wish to consolidate or refresh their HR knowledge and stay up to date with current legislation and HR practice.
Our 2023 programme will focus on the following core topics from a key HR perspective:
Boyes Turner
Abbots House
Abbey Street Reading
RG1 3BD
United Kingdom
The course is aimed at those who are new to a career in HR, have returned to HR from a break or who want to brush up on their core knowledge and skills. Previous attendees have included those in an HR advisory role right through to HR Director level.
The agenda is ambitious; however, we aim to cover topics focusing on what HR need to know and how HR can help the business/managers. There is a HR problem solving focus where we take a topic and look at some of the key areas where HR might be involved or the questions which might be asked of you. As we work in a “class room” feel, there is a chance to work through challenges in more detail.
We want the training to be as inclusive as we can and we have found this end time works well with those who travel or have other commitments. It also gives attendees the chance to test out what they have learnt in the session if they return to work.
Unfortunately not. We want to run the course in person as we think this allows for better discussion and learning opportutnity. We do not record the session either.
Booking/payment can be done online via a credit card or via an invoice. We use Swift pay. Payment is made via our usual terms. We do not offer refunds for non-attendance; however, if you are unable to attend you can ask a colleague to take your place. Our full Terms and Conditions relating to training can be found here. Any questions at the time of booking please ask.
If you are booking for 2 or more delegates we offer a 5% discount.
We do ask that all bookings are paid for in advance of the training dates. As we try and limit spaces, we cannot accept provision bookings.
Not really as the sessions complement each other and what you learn on day 1 will help with your understanding of day 2 (and vice versa).
A working lunch is provided on both sessions. We will ask you for any dietary requirements prior to the day. We will have breaks during the day and water is provided on tables, it’s pretty flexible in terms of breaks!
Yes, you’ll receive a pack (which includes the slides) so you can make notes during the sessions.
No it isn’t. You will however, receive a certificate of attendance.
