With just over 2 weeks to go to our October HR Conference, Emma O’Connor Head of Training, explains what attendees can expect in the first in a series of podcasts.

sustainable productivity

Emma O’Connor says:

“Our HR Conferences are a mix of blue sky thinking as well as on the ground strategic planning and takeaways.  We want our audience to hear about what’s going on in other sectors and how we can learn from others and this Autumn’s event is no exception. This Conference leads on from our discussion in June, where we looked at how we unlock the productivity of our people. Now, we move forward to discuss the difference between short term and long term strategies associated with increasing productivity and what are the pros and cons. With the increasing focus on wellbeing at work, we will also discuss what is the business case for these initiatives.

With presenters from Vitality Healthcare, Sheffield University as well as a fascinating discussion focusing on the impact that our busy lives have on our productivity, this will certainly give our audience a flavour of what the issues are and why engaging and increasing the productivity of our people is vital in times of business and economic uncertainty.

The list of attendees is very impressive and I thank all of you who have signed up to attend. To hear more about the event and who should attend, why not listen to the first in our series of podcasts.”
