Growth prompts expansion at leading Thames Valley law firm

Leading Thames Valley law firm Boyes Turner has added five new recruits to its Real Estate teams including two in its fast-growing Development and house building team as the firm continues to grow its presence in key markets.

The five have all joined the top regional firm as it continues to expand to meet an increase in new business.

The new arrivals include associate - solicitor Stephanie Brown, who joins the Development and house building team from London firm Hamlins.

Other new recruits include paralegal Janey Rankin in the Commercial property team, led by Nick Carter, and associate - solicitor Emily Hook and paralegal Anisha Grewal in the Residential property team, led by Stella Perry, to accommodate growth in both areas.

Stephanie’s experience includes working on acquisitions and disposals as well as advising on construction matters including negotiating building contracts, warranties and consultant appointments.

She will work with the team, including partners William Nassau-Lake, Mark Appleton and Derek Ching, on a range of residential and commercial development projects and will also bolster the firm’s Construction team, working alongside Rowan Turrall.

The expansion follows on from the arrival last year of solicitor Matthew Bell, who joined the Development and house building team as new instructions continue to increase.

William Nassau-Lake, partner in the Development and house building team, said: “Our Real Estate teams have been going from strength to strength in recent years, successfully gaining new clients in the core sectors in which we operate.

We’re delighted to welcome all five of our new team members to Boyes Turner, who will all play a key role in helping us work with our growing client base and develop our reputation still further.”

Boyes Turner’s specialism in development and house building has been established through over more than 30 years of experience in the sector. Clients range from national house builders to independent commercial and residential developers operating across the south of England and beyond.

Work covers all aspects of conditional and unconditional site acquisition and disposal, site assembly, promotion agreements, as well as advising on planning, infrastructure and construction arrangements. The firm’s experienced plot sales team also handles disposals of residential units.
