    Acting in defence of over 250 product liability claims concerning metal on metal hip devices.
     
  • Showmen’s Guild of Great Britain
    Acting for the Guild in connection with investigation by the Competition and Market’s Authority into alleged anti-competitive practices.  
     
  • Technology company
    Advising a technology company in Court of Appeal action where our client is the employer in a Part 8 claim concerning which deeds govern its pension scheme.
     
  • Advertising business
    Acting in connection with the defence of proceedings brought by a former customer for damages for alleged wrongful termination of advertising contract.  
     
  • Nursing recruitment agency
    Obtaining a worldwide freezing injunction focusing in particular on assets in Zambia.
     
  • Property company    
    Acting for the claimant in connection with two sets of defended possession proceedings on the basis that the charges are unenforceable under the provisions of the Financial Services & Markets Act 2000.
     
  • Colt Group Ltd    
    Acting for Colt in relation to a dispute with a distributor in South Africa.  
     
  • International toy manufacturer    
    Acting in connection with defence of High Court proceedings brought by former German supplier regarding the alleged unlawful termination of a contract to supply model toys for damages for circa €609,000.00.  
     
  • Global software supplier
    Advising our client in connection with a number of software licensing issues throughout the year.
     
  • International data analytics provider
    Advising on UK litigation matters including in particular reputational management and libel claims.
     
  • Software and services company
    Advising in respect of potential issues arising from the intended development of a new software product including contractual and intellectual property considerations.
     
  • Electronic manufacturer
    Acting for Swiss company in relation to claim for breach of warranty arising from share purchase agreement.  
     
  • Global security solutions supplier
    Advising the client in respect of a claim brought by its former commercial agent in the Republic of Ireland following termination of the agency.
     
  • Commercial drains specialist
    Advising on various contractual issues arising under its contract to provide services to their client, a water company, as well as issues arising with various subcontractors who assist in the provision of the services.  
     
  • Compliance and business development providers
    Acting in a £250k claim for breach of contract (consultancy agreement) and a £500,000 plus  claim for breach of contract relating to alleged wrongful dismissal, share options and whistleblowing.

    Acting in connection with a dispute regarding the alleged use of confidential information by a former senior employee.
