    Advising a hospitality company on a claim brought by a chef who was represented by an unregulated legal advisor who himself had been struck off due to racist behaviours.

    Advising an energy sector client on a claim from an individual who had been on sick leave for several months and would not engage with the company.
     
  • TUPE
    Advised upon the arrangements involving the transfer of a senior employee from his employment in Italy to the United Arab Emirates.

    Advised global telecoms company in UAE, Jordan, Poland and Saudi Arabia on transfers, terminations and recruitment of employees and establishment of a Branch office.
     
  • Employee relocation
    Managing legal risks and implementing process to move approximately 600 employees of Becton Dickinson from offices in Oxford and Basingstoke into their new combined office in Reading.
     
  • Business immigration advice
    Advising on the business immigration aspects and compliance obligations on the acquisition of a multinational education sector client. Successfully defending oil sector client from allegations of sexual harassment and age discrimination claims by former employee.  
     
  • Equal pay claim
    Design, development, implementation and delivery of class action equal pay litigation settlement programme for a local council.
     
  • Integration of new company
    Management of UK employment law impact on integration of a leading medical device manufacturer following their acquisition by a competitor.
     
  • Unfair dismissal claim
    Defending claim by three former employees of a leading information management provider who had been dismissed for gross misconduct as a result of an extensive internal investigation.  
     
  • Global reorganisation advice
    Advising our client, as part of its global reorganisation, on their UK business, including TUPE, immigration, corporate and property advice.  
     
  • High level sexual harassment and discrimination claims
    Advised client company on allegations of sexual harassment and sex discrimination between two board directors.

    Successfully defending oil sector client from allegations of sexual harassment and age discrimination claims by former employee. 
     
  • High level dismissals
    Advised on the removal of the Human Resources Director (HRD) who sat on the Board of a leading logistics company.

    Advising on the dismissal of country lead for retail sector client.
     
  • Data protection
    Advising an international technology sector company on a Subject Access Request (SAR) and subsequent unfair dismissal proceedings arising from alleged whistle blowing.
