(SENIOR ASSOCIATE - SOLICITOR)
As a senior associate - solicitor in Boyes Turner’s successful industrial disease team, Annabelle has dedicated her career to obtaining justice for claimants with industrial and asbestos related conditions, such as mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis and pleural thickening, silicosis and pneumoconiosis.
Annabelle is an expert in complex and high value asbestos disease claims. Her skill and experience enable her to achieve compensation awards for individuals and families affected by asbestos-related lung disease in circumstances where other solicitors have failed or were unwilling to act, owing to lack of evidence or where the limitation deadline has expired.
Annabelle is often called upon to share her expertise by speaking at seminars in hospitals and hospices. She is a regular presenter at Boyes Turner’s mesothelioma and lung cancer study days, where she updates sufferers, health care professionals and other patient advisors on the law and procedure for asbestos-related claims. Annabelle keeps her own medical knowledge and treatment knowhow at the leading edge through regular attendance and participation in industry events, such as the National Lung Cancer Forum for Nurses and the British Thoracic Oncology Group. Through regular liaison with experts in the field, she ensures that her own clients always receive the highest standards of advice and the best prospects of success with their compensation claim. Annabelle’s clients also receive expert advice on their entitlement to benefits.
An avid supporter of charities, including St Michael's Hospice, Mesothelioma UK, Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund and Cancer Research UK, Annabelle works hard to raise awareness and funds to support those who care for and work to end the suffering of people affected by asbestos-related disease. Her personal fundraising efforts have involved running half marathons, a sky dive and a 96 mile fund-raising walk.
Annabelle is a member of the Law Society and a Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). She is also a member of the Association of Lawyers for Animal Welfare.
