Darryn joined Boyes Turner in March 2020 and is an associate solicitor in the firm’s Business Support & Insolvency team.
With expertise in dealing with predominantly property-related disputes for the past 17 years, Darryn has also dealt with numerous insolvency matters, and previously worked for the Insolvency Service in London. Darryn’s interest in insolvency law first developed in South Africa during his training contract, working with a partner at a large national law firm, and has continued ever since.
Darryn is a member of the Law Society, Property Litigation Association and R3 (Association of Business Recovery Professionals) and assists Phil Smith and Oliver Fitzpatrick in a range of insolvency assignments including:
- Voluntary and compulsory liquidations
- Administrations
- Law of Property Act receiverships
- Voluntary arrangements
- Applications pursuant to sections 234, 236 and 366 of the Insolvency Act 1986
- Company restorations
- Bankruptcies
