Oliver is a Partner in the Insolvency and Business Support team and has specialised in the law of insolvency since qualifying in 2011. He acts for insolvency practitioners, companies, directors, stakeholders and private individuals across both personal and corporate insolvency processes. He provides specialist advice on a range of areas, including litigious proceedings, asset realisations, appointment of officeholders and advisory work.

Oliver prides himself of providing succinct, astute and commercial advice to all of his clients. Insolvency can be a tricky area to navigate at times, for a range of people affected and for a variety of reasons, and he ensures that he puts the needs and objectives of his clients at the forefront of all that he does. He has forged a respected reputation within the profession for his commitment to his clients and knowledge of the industry and law in the area.

He has been a long-standing member of the team which has been consistently ranked as a "Band 1" Insolvency practice by Chambers & Partners.

In 2023 he was individually ranked in Chambers and Partners, specifically noted for being “technical and has excellent attention to detail."

In the same year he was described as a “Next Generation Partner” in the Legal 500 publication.

He is also a member of R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

With two young children who like to keep him on his toes, Oliver does not have as much spare time as he might otherwise like outside of work but when he does, he enjoys going to gigs and festivals. He’s also conformed to the stereotype and has just started to take up golf!
