Sophie is an associate chartered legal executive in the firm’s dispute resolution team. She has worked in the firm’s dispute resolution group for over 20 years, having started her career as a trainee legal executive. Sophie has experience of pursuing and defending claims by either reaching settlement or taking cases to trial. She acts for both commercial and private clients advising on all areas of contractual disputes. 

Sophie also assists senior lawyers on a range of higher value complex litigation disputes.

Sophie has a particular interest in contentious probate claims, in particular with claims for reasonable financial provision under The Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. Her empathy and ability to reassure clients helps to guide them through the stresses of litigation in this area.

Sophie is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
