Dispute resolution
We have one of the largest commercial litigation teams in the region. We act for both claimants and defendants and combine legal expertise with pragmatism to deliver straight talking advice.
Sophie also has an interest in advising private individuals in contentious will disputes and a particular interest in claims for reasonable and financial provision under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. Her empathy and ability to reassure clients helps to guide them through the stresses of litigation in this area.
Sophie also supports other senior lawyers in the group on a variety of higher value complex litigation disputes.
Sophie has written articles that have appeared in Today’s Wills & Probate, Estate Research and Expert Witness Journal.
Sophie is an associate chartered legal executive having qualified as a fellow in March 2013.
Away from the office Sophie keeps herself busy with her family life, experimenting with cooking and enjoys getting out in the fresh air either on long dog walks or running with friends.
