Charlotte Burrough is an Associate Solicitor in Boyes Turner’s commercial and technology teams. and has experience in advising clients on a wide range of commercial matters, software and technology agreements, data protection, intellectual property and other commercial contracts.

Charlotte works with businesses of all sizes, from fast-growing start-ups to established national and international organisations, helping them navigate complex legal and commercial challenges in an increasingly digital environment. She works closely with clients to ensure their legal challenges are met and enjoys exploring pragmatic and practical solutions with her clients.

Charlotte loves working alongside businesses to give commercial and pragmatic advice which helps them achieve their commercial objectives. Clients have in the past praised her for her ability to explain complex legal matters in a way that they can easily understand.

A few of Charlotte’s key cases include:

  • Supporting a large media company with their day-to-day procurement contracts, acting as an extension of their in-house legal time and completing contract risk reviews, approvals and negotiations.
  • Drafting a Software as a Service Agreement including to cover the transfer of personal data outside of the UK.
  • Advising a networking company on their current data protection and consumer law compliance.
  • Drafting a suite of documents relating to a client’s digital marketing, including influencer, ambassador and brand collaboration agreements.
