Boyes Turner has been named Property Law Firm of the Year at the 2021 Thames Valley Property Awards.
The Thames Valley Property Awards are the leading commercial property event in the region. Boyes Turner was one of 18 winners announced at a gala event on 9 December at Royal Ascot racecourse, which was hosted by comedian Marcus Brigstocke.
The awards are the leading commercial property event in the region, recognising the contributions of property agents, developers, planners, consultants, property lawyers, and dealmakers to the success of the sector. The Property Law Firm of the Year category was sponsored by Vail Williams.
Reflecting on the award win, and how Boyes Turner’s property team has stepped up for its clients to overcome the challenges of the pandemic, Nick Carter, Head of Commercial Property said: The key driver for us over the last 18 months has been around communicating with clients and staying in touch. We’ve been particularly busy with development work during this period, especially around home ownership. A lot of our commercial property deals have been with pharmaceutical clients. It’s been nice to grow our footprint in this sector in addition to offices and industrial properties.”
The awards are organised by The Business Magazine. Richard Thompson, Managing Director at Black Ox, publisher of The Business Magazine said: What has happened over the past 18 months has meant that businesses have had to look at their future workplace strategies, as businesses are looking to move away from full remote working. Many of the property clients we engage with say that it will take two to three years of transition before working practices become settled.
