Dan Reeves is Head of Marketing & Business Development at Boyes Turner, working closely with the Managing Partner and senior team to achieve the firms’ strategic goals and implement marketing and business plans.
Dan’s approach to marketing and business development is modern and data lead, built over years of evolution in marketing and bd, as every marketer continues to strive towards understanding user thinking, client experiences, the key metrics and delivering returns.
At Boyes Turner, Dan is working to connect the firms’ data and platforms, build a stronger digital future to benefit the firms’ services and continue to improve the already very good client experience the firm provides.
In 2025, Dan supported the firms growing Private Wealth and International services which culminated with the opening of a London hub to help facilitate more interaction with our growing client and referrer base.
With over 20 years’ experience in professional services marketing, Dan’s been a legal marketer now for nine years, having previously worked in the Financial Services and Property and Construction sectors before moving into law. A modern law firm must keep evolving and develop to the needs of a client and the aim is to keep looking at how the sector will develop, what the clients want and how the firm can continue to provide solutions to clients legal needs.
Over the years, Dan developed a wide variety of skills which lend perfectly to the creative, analytical, and changing dynamics of modern marketing. Dan said “I came into marketing as a graphic designer building websites, coding email marketing campaigns and a bit of offline design, back before the iPhone was born. Your main social and networking platforms then were trips to the pub or a round of golf (which still works), marketing and business development has changed massively, there’s far more channels, it’s far more analytical and with the blend of relationships and use of technology you can use data and track value to a business more than ever, I love that, data removes emotions from decision making.”
