Having qualified as a solicitor in December 2017, Ben has joined the award winning medical negligence team at Boyes Turner. Having begun his career working for claimants in personal injury cases, Ben has now returned to representing claimants having gained over 7 years’ experience exclusively in medical negligence working for a leading defendant firm. This experience gives Ben a unique perspective and enables him to understand the objectives on both sides of litigation.

As a result, Ben has gained experience in managing a variety of cases involving serious, life changing injuries arising from obstetric, neurological, orthopaedic, and ophthalmological treatment as well as arising from cardiac, respiratory, oncological, urological and endocrinological treatment. Ben’s experience has seen him often negotiating seven figure settlements.

Ben is respected by his clients for his compassion and professionalism as well as being commended by his opponents for his creativity and forthrightness in resolving the most challenging of cases. Ben is also experienced in representing his clients in alternative dispute resolution but where an agreed resolution has not been possible, he has taken a number of cases to Trial obtaining a successful outcome. Ultimately, Ben anticipates and appreciates his clients’ unique needs whist being committed to securing the best outcome for them.

Ben secured a LLB at the University of Leicester before completing his LPC at the College of Law, Guildford. Ben began his career with Wheelers Solicitors, Guildford, before moving to DAC Beachcroft LLP, Winchester, in 2013 where he would qualify as a solicitor. Ben joined Boyes Turner in 2020.

Ben is also a member of the Law Society.

Working With Ben was very easy. He kept us well informed of what and how everything was working. He explained lots of legal jargon and was very sympathetic and sensitive to me and the situation. Reaching a resolution relatively quickly given the circumstances.
