Gary Parkinson

Gary is Partner and Head of the firm’s highly regarded Property Disputes team. He has over thirty-six years’ experience of dealing with property disputes and advising on property rights and the construction and interpretation of leases.

Gary specialises in all aspects of commercial property disputes including those concerning sale and purchase, restrictive covenants, contested and non-contested business lease renewal, dilapidations, break clauses, rights of way and commercial service charges. He is known for his straightforward commercial advice and his tenacity in pursuing his client’s goals.

Gary has expertise in acting in heavyweight and complex cases representing business clients including corporate occupiers and owners, developers, managers, and property investment companies. He has extensive experience of Alternative Dispute Resolution but where that fails or is inappropriate, he has taken claims to the High Court, the Technology and Construction Court and the Upper Lands Tribunal.
