Lawrence heads the firm’s Construction Practice. He acts for property developers, contractors, funders, construction professionals and joint venture partners on projects for both the public and private sectors in the UK and overseas.

He has extensive experience of all the major forms of building and engineering standard form contracts and has acted on projects in the energy and power sectors, infrastructure developments, and civil engineering projects in a variety of sectors. He also has wide experience of contentious matters in adjudications, arbitrations, and the TCC.

The development projects he has acted on include, acting for the developers of Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations, and Plantation Place, and the construction or re-development of hospitals and schools under PFI and PPP projects. He has acted on power projects in the UK, Europe and North and South America, including power stations, hydro, wind and solar projects.

Lawrence has been recognised in Legal 500, Chambers, and Legal Experts for his expertise in Construction. He has lectured on Construction Law at King’s College, London, and given lectures on PPP structures in Europe, Africa and North America. He has also been published in the International Construction Law Review (ICLR) and Public Private Partnerships. He regularly gives lectures on construction law and project issues.
