Lucy is a Solicitor in our Personal Injury team and Industrial Disease team. She qualified as a solicitor in May 2023 and joined Boyes Turner in June 2025. Lucy supports individuals and their families following serious injuries, whether from road traffic collisions, workplace accidents, or illnesses contracted through work, including asbestos-related diseases.

Lucy manages a varied caseload; her experience spans a wide range of claims, including for children, protected parties, and claims involving fatal accidents, amputations, and industrial disease. She guides clients through the legal process with clarity, accuracy and compassion.

Working across both the personal injury and industrial disease teams, Lucy is currently increasing her caseload of industrial disease claims. She represents Claimants who have been negligently exposed to asbestos and are suffering from related conditions, often many years after the initial exposure.

From gathering evidence, instructing medical experts, and negotiating with other parties Lucy is efficient throughout every stage of a claim. She prioritises the swift progression of a claim wherever possible, whilst acknowledging the balance to be struck to ensure a fair amount of compensation is recovered.

Lucy takes pride in listening closely to the injured person or their family, understanding their position and priorities and approaching each claim with the care and respect it deserves, taking into account the individual impact on each Claimant and family. Lucy is inspired by the strength and resilience of those she represents during which is undoubtedly a very difficult period in their life. She is committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients.

Lucy is passionate about the importance of early rehabilitation in a Claimant’s recovery and penned an article on the importance and practicalities of securing early rehabilitation, which was published in The Solicitor’s Journal in 2023.

A keen advocate for social mobility, Lucy has organised two PRIME work experience weeks for local Sixth Form students, providing them with the opportunity for legal experience and career advice they may not otherwise have.

In her spare time, Lucy is very active and combines this interest with charitable endeavours. She ran the Great South Run in 2023, raising almost £500 for the Brain and Spine Foundation. She looks forward to supporting more charity and social mobility initiatives with the firm. She also enjoys musical theatre and spending quality time with her young nephew and niece and two cockapoo dogs.
