Rachael joined the Education team as an SEN specialist following a career break necessitated by SEN within her family. During this time she provided advice to the parents of SEN children within the charitable sector.
Her experience extends to assisting parents at all stages of the SEN process, including pre ECHP provision and support, refusal to assess or issue a Plan, review of draft ECHPs Plans and Statements, Annual Reviews and failure to deliver on the contents of statements/ECHPs/Statements.
She has particular experience with dyslexia/dyspraxia/ASD/ADHD and sensory processing needs with strong links to local specialist schools and support groups.
Rachael's past experience within the personal injury/clinical negligence fields assists with the identifications of those cases that could benefit from SEN support.
Rachael is a member of the Law Society and the Education Law Association (ELAS).
