BOYES TURNER CLIENTS

Rowan is a senior associate - solicitor in the Dispute resolution team. She has been advising on a wide range of contractual disputes for over 13 years and works closely with the firm’s Commercial and technology team dealing with technology-related disputes. She is the head of the firm's Construction service. Rowan is experienced in dealing with substantial claims in the High Court and County Court and has resolved a number of cases through mediation and adjudication.

Much of Rowan’s work is for clients in the technology and construction industries. There is a close synergy between IT and construction project disputes which are often caused by poorly defined scope, mismatched expectations and delay. Rowan also has a niche specialism advising on claims under the Commercial Agents (Council Directive) Regulations 1993.

Rowan arranges and delivers a highly successful series of seminars on construction-related topics. She is a member of the Society of Construction Law and the Society for Computers and Law as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Rowan is recognised as a Next Generation lawyer in the Legal 500 and as an Associate to Watch in Chambers and Partners.
