Samantha is an Associate Solicitor in the Construction team, where she assists developers, contractors and other construction professionals on a range of projects. Her workload sees her regularly advising on standard form contracts, consultant appointments and collateral warranties.

Samantha also has experience dealing with construction and engineering disputes. She has advised clients on Building Safety Act matters as well as claims involving payment disputes, professional negligence, and issues surrounding termination.

She assisted in the case of AM Construction Limited v. The Darul Amaan Trust [2022] EWHC 1478 (TCC) where she was part of the main contractor’s legal team and successfully obtained a declaration that an adjudicator’s decision was unenforceable for lack of jurisdiction and that a notified sum was due to the main contractor.

Samantha qualified as a solicitor in February 2020. Prior to joining Boyes Turner in August 2025, she worked in a construction team with a top tier ranking in the Legal 500. Here, she supported developers, contractors, consultants and residential homeowners on a range of legal issues.

Now with a predominantly non-contentious caseload, Samantha draws on her contentious experience and is able to advise clients on contract terms from a risk management point of view. She approaches contract negotiations from a commercial, pragmatic stance and enjoys helping clients achieve their objectives and move projects along.

Outside of work Samantha loves travelling and has spent ten months exploring Australia’s East Coast and Tasmania.

She enjoys country walks (and pubs) and is trying to get better at Pilates.
