Vanessa deals exclusively with complex, high value medical negligence claims. She has a specialist interest in obstetric and birth-related injuries to both mother and baby, which include cerebral palsy and severe neonatal injury, VBAC complications, wrongful conception, alongside her broad-based expertise with cases involving amputation, PVS, subarachnoid haemorrhage and other life threatening, fatal and permanently disabling conditions.
Vanessa is an expert in quantifying claims involving cerebral palsy and other types of neonatal, severe, neurological injuries, consistently enabling her clients to receive the highest possible compensation awards. She strives to make the claims process as easy as possible for her clients and is frequently complimented by clients, barristers, and defendant solicitors for her professionalism, efficiency, and care. She is also highly valued by other members of Boyes Turner’s clinical negligence group, including for her Professional Support Lawyer role within the group and as an outstanding and experienced clinical negligence fee earner in her own right.

In her spare time, you’ll find Vanessa enjoying motherhood with her children. She likes visiting art galleries and going to gigs. A keen traveller and trekker, Vanessa has explored scores of countries across the globe and is keen to open her children’s eyes to the delights of travelling.
