Reading’s Boyes Turner unveils latest round of senior promotions

Reading law firm Boyes Turner has promoted five senior solicitors across its teams, following a strong start to 2024 for the firm.

Claire Taylor-Evans has been made up to partner in Boyes Turner’s nationally recognised Employment Team. Having joined Boyes Turner in 2007, Claire has developed a gender pay gap reporting service to support the firm’s clients and is now developing this to extend to ethnicity reporting. Claire also leads the Employment group’s growing tech sector initiatives.

Both Melloney Harbutt in Personal Injury, and Helen Dobson in Commercial and Technology, have been promoted to directors. Also joining the firm in 2007, Melloney has been key to driving Boyes Turner’s specialist mesothelioma work, professionally and as an active campaigner.Alongside leading the relationship for key Commercial and Technology clients, Helen is deeply involved in the firm’s trainee development.

Lindsay Da Re and Richard Pulford are promoted to Senior Associate within Court of Protection and Dispute Resolution teams respectively.

Barry Stanton, Boyes Turner’s Interim Managing Partner said, “This new round of promotions reflects our strategic ambitions, the performance of Boyes Turner, and the continued focus and commitment of all our team.

We’ve always prioritised investing in our people’s development within the firm; talent retention is key to Boyes Turner so I’m thrilled to be able to recognise all five outstanding solicitors. I know that each of them will keep making a significant and valued contribution to their teams, and Boyes Turner’s wider success.

The latest promotions follow a series of new hires for Boyes Turner. Izzy Brignall joins Boyes Turner’s Corporate team as a Solicitor Apprentice on the firm’s growing Apprenticeship programme. Earlier this month Boyes Turner announced that Nadine Jayes had joined its Wills, Trusts & Probate team as Senior Associate Solicitor.
