Kathryn Winter

Kathryn Winter is a Paralegal in Boyes Turner’s Court of Protection team, supporting clients across a range of Community Care and Court of Protection matters. She assists with the management of complex cases involving vulnerable individuals, helping to ensure clients and their families receive practical guidance and support throughout the legal process.

Kathryn is passionate about all children receiving supportive and inclusive education, along with the protection of vulnerable adults.

As a Paralegal in the team, Kathryn’s responsibilities include drafting and filing court documents, liaising with the Court of Protection, and collaborating with clients, their family, legal professionals, and experts, to ensure the best interests of vulnerable individuals are protected.

Kathryn supports clients on a range of issues affecting vulnerable children and adults, including disputes relating to education provision, care packages, social care support, mental capacity, welfare decisions and safeguarding concerns. She assists in matters where families may be struggling to access appropriate support, secure suitable education or care arrangements, or navigate decisions made by local authorities and healthcare bodies. Kathryn works closely with clients, families and professionals to help ensure individuals’ needs, rights and best interests are properly recognised and protected.
