He deals with all aspects of commercial property transactions for a large range of national and international companies in many sectors. He specialises in all types of business space, such as offices, including headquarters relocations, industrial units, warehouses, laboratories, retail units, pubs, restaurants, schools and Churches and other religious buildings. He supports clients in many sectors including technology, life sciences, engineering, media and telecommunications, retail, investment, logistics & distribution, religious organisations and other charitable or not for profit entities.
Nick has developed a specialist area advising science and technology companies with the sales, purchases or leases of wet laboratories and dry laboratories and associated office space.

Nick has developed a specialist practice of advising large companies including global and national companies, on the legal management of their commercial property portfolios in the UK, working closely with their in-house legal teams and with other external property consultants and advisors. This includes office moves including headquarters relocations or reorganisations, acquiring or disposing of commercial property, applications for consent to landlords to carry out alterations or to assign or underlet the property and the grant of underleases or licences, early exit advice including exercising a break notice or advising on the surrender a lease or other strategic commercial property advice.
Having started his career in London, Nick has a strong understanding of the service levels, commercial expectations and technical expertise required by sophisticated corporate clients and institutional property owners. He has been particularly successful in supporting clients who have historically relied on City-based law firms by delivering the same high standard of commercial property advice in a more responsive, partner-led and cost-effective manner.

- Advised a global company specialising in design and manufacture of IoT connectivity microchips on a headquarters acquisition in London including dry laboratory space with a rent in excess of £2,000,000 per annum.
- Advised global telecommunications company on its acquisition and later renewal of its UK headquarters and associated management documents.
- Advised a UK market-leading biometric access control manufacturer on a complex agreement to acquire a commercial lease of a 54,000 sq.ft. industrial warehouse once constructed by the landlord to an agreed specification requiring specialist construction and planning advice.
- Advise a leading cancer research charity on its UK portfolio of offices and laboratories, including wet laboratory lease acquisitions and disposals and early exits.
- Advising a religious organisation with the legal management of its portfolio of Churches, Schools, retail and other religious meeting rooms across various regional trusts in the UK.
