Jessica Edmunds is a Paralegal in Boyes Turner’s Community Care, Court of Protection and Special Educational Needs teams. She supports vulnerable individuals, families, Deputies and Case Managers families across a broad range of education, care and welfare matters.
Jessica supports clients across a wide range of Community Care, Court of Protection and Special Educational Needs matters, helping to ensure cases progress smoothly and efficiently from the outset. She plays an important role in maintaining organised and accurate client records, coordinating key processes and supporting the wider team to deliver a responsive and high-quality service. Her proactive and detail-focused approach helps ensure clients receive timely communication, efficient case management and a seamless experience throughout their matter.
Jessica supports matters involving education provision, care and support arrangements, mental capacity, welfare decisions and wider community care issues affecting vulnerable individuals and their families. By helping to coordinate information, manage documentation and support the progression of cases, she assists the team in ensuring clients can access the education, care and support services they need as efficiently as possible.

- Social care funding – Care Act 2014 eligibility, assessment, personal budget negotiations, care planning, ordinary residence, financial assessment and direct payment disputes. In addition, deprivation of asset disputes.
- Healthcare funding – Hospital Discharge, NHS Continuing Healthcare eligibility, assessments, and appeals.
