Alexa Ponce

Alexa Ponce is a Paralegal in Boyes Turner’s Court of Protection team, where she provides dedicated support to individuals with limited mental capacity and their families. With a strong focus on both personal welfare and financial management, she is committed to acting in the best interests of those she assists, offering guidance with empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism.

Alexa supports clients across a broad range of Court of Protection matters, assisting with the day-to-day management of financial affairs and personal welfare needs for individuals who lack capacity. Her work includes helping to manage property and finances, liaising with banks, care providers, case managers and family members, preparing documentation for Court applications, and supporting matters involving care arrangements, capacity assessments and best interests decisions. She plays an important role in ensuring clients’ affairs are managed efficiently and sensitively, helping vulnerable individuals access the care, support and financial protection they need while providing reassurance and practical assistance to their families throughout the process.

Alexa assists with the management of property and financial affairs deputyships, helping to ensure clients’ finances are managed effectively and in their best interests. She supports with the administration of accounts, liaising with financial institutions and wider case management matters, while continuing to develop her knowledge and experience within Court of Protection work

Alexa previously gained extensive experience as an advisor and supervisor at Citizens Advice, developing a strong understanding of housing, welfare benefits and wider social welfare issues, which helps inform her practical and client-focused approach to supporting vulnerable individuals and their families.
