Mark Appleton is a Legal Director in Boyes Turner’s Commercial Property Group and has specialised in commercial property matters for 40 years.
Mark specialises in the acquisition, letting, management and disposal of commercial and investment properties, acting for owners, occupiers, developers and investors across a broad range of real estate transactions. He brings significant commercial insight and strategic value to clients by delivering practical, solution-focused advice on complex property matters, helping clients maximise asset value, manage risk and achieve long-term investment and development objectives efficiently and effectively.
Mark has extensive experience advising overseas investors, educational institutions and developers on complex and long-term property arrangements, including strategic “slow burn” development transactions. His expertise includes negotiating and structuring Land Promotion Agreements, Option Agreements and Conditional Contracts, with a strong focus on maximising asset value and managing transactional risk.
His clients include many international companies and trusts and Mark is well versed in very difficult landlord and tenant matters and the acquisition and disposal of investment properties.
Mark’s clients value him for being part of their team and working tirelessly to achieve their commercial goals including inspecting their premises to understand their business
He has been thanked by one client recently for your “outstanding work” in relation to a transfer from a liquidator to an overseas trust – and by a land promoter for going “beyond the role of a legal advisor” in order to progress a transaction relating to a development for over 400 houses.
