Boyes Turner has advised the shareholders of luxury haircare retailer Luxurious Look, on its sale to skincare and beauty specialist, Face the Future, as it significantly broadens the range of premium haircare brands it offers.
Face the Future has a 20-year history of providing premium skincare to customers around the globe and expanded into the haircare category three years ago. The acquisition of Luxurious Look, which offers luxury brands such as Davines, AVEDA, Aesop and Milk_Shake, is an important step in the company’s growth.
Chris Dobson, Partner and Head of Corporate, and Joe Rogers, Associate Solicitor, also in Boyes Turner’s Corporate team, led the deal.
Commenting on the transaction, Luxurious Look’s joint-founder, Mark Readman said: Fay [Readman] and I have decided that now is the right time for Luxurious Look to grow as part of a larger organisation, with the right resources and expertise, to take the brand to the next level. The synergistic opportunity Face the Future presented, itself being a family-run business under the stewardship of Paul and Julia [Thompson], was a perfect fit.
