Duncan is a Partner in the Corporate team at Boyes Turner. He provides pragmatic advice to companies at all stages of their development on a broad range of corporate matters.

Duncan has over 10 years of experience advising individuals, companies, LLPs and partnerships on a wide range of matters including domestic and international M&A (acting for both seller and purchaser), MBOs, restructuring and reorganisations, private equity backed investments and joint ventures.

Duncan enjoys helping businesses navigate corporate legal challenges and providing strategic legal advice to help support their growth and success.

He trained and spent a number of years building his corporate legal knowledge at regional firms before joining KPMG to help set up and grow their legal offering in the South of England. At KPMG, Duncan worked with many leading multinational companies and large privately owned businesses on cross-border transactions, complex international group reorganisations and succession planning projects.

Clients have praised his affable manner and his ability to distil complex legal points into accessible terms so that they can make clear decisions.

Duncan has been recognised as a key lawyer in the Legal500.

Outside work Duncan is a keen snowboarder, undertaking split boarding trips to the Lofoten Islands and across Europe, and he formerly raced internationally as a downhill skateboarder. Since having two young sons, his risk appetite and time availability has been adjusted, and he now focuses on running and cycling.
