Katie Butler is a Solicitor in the Boyes Turner’s Employment group, advising employers and individuals on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. She provides both legal and practical support on issues including disciplinary and grievance matters, dismissals, redundancies, discrimination and whistleblowing claims, Employment Tribunal proceedings and settlement agreements, as well as advising on employment contracts, workplace policies and day-to-day HR matters.

Katie qualified into Employment Law as a Solicitor in 2024. She completed training seats in Family, Private Client, Corporate and Commercial, and Employment which enables her to give well rounded advice on Employment matters.

Katie specialises in advising clients on day-to-day HR and employee relations matters, helping businesses manage workplace issues proactively and effectively before they escalate into disputes. Her experience includes supporting employers on disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management, absence issues, restructures and redundancies, as well as advising on discrimination and unfair dismissal risks. Katie takes a practical and commercially focused approach, working closely with clients to deliver clear and responsive advice that supports operational objectives, minimises legal exposure and promotes positive workplace relationships.
