Raeisa Apabhai

Raeisa Apabhai is a Solicitor in Boyes Turner’s  Community Care team, advising on Property and Financial Affairs matters for vulnerable clients. She supports individuals who have sustained traumatic brain injuries and other life-changing conditions, assisting with complex Court of Protection matters and helping to ensure clients receive the financial management, care and long-term support they require.

Raeisa advises on all aspects of deputyship management, including complex Court applications, budgeting and financial administration, property transactions, care-related expenditure and liaison with investment managers and financial advisers. She regularly works alongside case managers, therapists, care teams and families to help coordinate holistic support tailored to each client’s individual circumstances and long-term needs. Her experience includes acting on matters involving both straightforward and highly complex, high-value estates with significant ongoing care requirements.

She has particular experience assisting professional and lay deputies with the practical management of clients’ affairs, including the administration of compensation awards, ongoing care funding arrangements and financial planning for individuals with complex needs. Raeisa is known for her organised and practical approach, as well as her ability to build strong working relationships with clients, families and professional support networks.
