Sarah Williamson is a Partner and Head of Boyes Turner’s Commercial & Technology team specialising in complex technology, digital and commercial arrangements for a diverse client base ranging from emerging growth companies to established international businesses.
Sarah has extensive experience advising on a broad range of commercial contracts including those with an international aspect. She specialises in technology and digital media and acts for well-known online publishers. She also has experience in marketing and advertising in creative and media sectors and has advised a number of creative and digital agencies and online platforms.
Through the team’s outsourced legal counsel service, Sarah acts as a seamless extension of her clients’ in-house legal function, or as their sole legal adviser, delivering pragmatic, commercially driven guidance that supports business growth, innovation and strategic decision-making.
Sarah is also an experienced data protection lawyer and holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/EU) certification with the IAPP. She advises on compliance with data protection and e-privacy laws particularly in the technology and marketing sectors and has written a number of articles for external publications.
