Sean* is a young adult who suffered clinical negligence at birth. His injuries resulted in mixed dyskinetic cerebral palsy with severe learning difficulties and epilepsy.

A property was purchased and fully adapted with separate carers’ accommodation. Sean initially received all of his care and therapy at his school but left at the age of 19 and since then we have made a claim for continuing healthcare funding. This claim was successful due to Sean’s complex needs. It means that his care is now provided in his own home and paid for by the NHS.
