As a Senior Paralegal in our Court of Protection team, Emma provides an approachable and reassuring helping hand for the team’s clients and their families.

Emma completes Court of Protection applications covering a range of matters such as the appointment of a Deputy, gratuitous care applications and authorisation of expenses. In addition, she manages large Personal Injury Trusts to ensure the smooth management and liaison between the professional and family trustees and beneficiary.

Emma looks after clients with complex needs and is involved in day-to-day management of their property, including property adaptation projects, financial matters such as reviewing benefits, considering statutory funding for care, dealing with tax, reviewing accounts and management of budgets. She enjoys working with case managers in respect to care packages and therapies together with visiting clients in their home.  However she has a particular interest in employment issues of carers.
