George is a Partner in Boyes Turner’s Commercial Property team. He works with business owners, in-house legal teams, property directors, asset managers and operational stakeholders who need clear, commercially realistic advice on property decisions that affect their wider business. He is particularly focused on helping clients reduce legal friction, manage risk and speed up delivery.
His background includes leadership roles at Deloitte Legal and Blake Morgan, as well as senior in-house experience at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he established and led the company’s dedicated EMEA real estate legal function. That mix of law firm, consultancy and in-house experience means George understands what clients need from external lawyers.
George is motivated by solving complex property problems in a way that is commercially useful, not just technically correct. He regularly supports clients on strategic real estate projects, high-value transactions and large property portfolios.
George is a highly experienced real estate lawyer, advising tenant occupiers, investors, developers, landlords, asset managers and corporate clients on acquisitions, disposals, leases, portfolio management, landlord and tenant issues, real estate finance, development and telecoms infrastructure under the Electronic Communications Code.
George has developed a strong understanding of the commercial pressures and operational challenges faced by large businesses and institutional organisations. He specialises in delivering practical, commercially focused advice that aligns legal strategy with wider business objectives, helping clients manage risk, improve efficiency and complete transactions effectively within demanding timeframes.
George is particularly valued for his ability to manage technically complex and transaction-heavy matters in a clear and pragmatic way. Clients value George’s straightforward approach, commercial awareness and responsiveness, as well as his ability to navigate complex negotiations and deliver solutions that support long-term operational and investment goals.
George has been consistently recognised by The Legal 500 reflecting his reputation for quality and client service.
