Nadine Silas-Richards

Nadine Silas-Richards is a Paralegal in Boyes Turner’s Court of Protection team, supporting clients and their families in relation to high-value deputyships and private trust matters. Drawing on her extensive operational, medical administrative and secretarial experience, Nadine helps ensure clients receive efficient and well-coordinated support across a wide range of financial and welfare matters.

Supporting Ruth Meyer, Court of Protection Partner, Nadine’s work includes assisting with Court of Protection applications, monitoring client budgets, supporting the preparation of annual deputyship accounts, liaising with case managers, independent financial advisers and other professionals, and helping to coordinate financial and care arrangements tailored to each client’s needs. Nadine also assists with matters involving personal injury trusts, property purchases and property adaptations, helping to ensure clients have access to appropriate accommodation, support and long-term financial management.

Nadine’s proactive, calm, caring, client focused manner and her setting and responding to the needs of our clients as a priority, makes her ideal as a first point of contact for the Court of Protection team.

Nadine has a compassionate nature and vast experience across a wide variety of medical specialities including more recently, within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. These skills enables her to draw on her background of supporting vulnerable clients and their families.

Nadine has 28 years’ experience within the NHS, including significant operational and project management experience gained through supporting the development of the Urgent Care/Rapid Response Service for Berkshire CAMHS. Initially launched as a pilot scheme across West Berkshire before expanding into East Berkshire, Nadine played a key role in the successful development and implementation of the service, which was ultimately commissioned as a Berkshire-wide provision.
