Sue O’Connell-Davidson is an Associate Solicitor in Boyes Turner’s Court of Protection team, advising on the day-to-day management of high-value deputyships for individuals who lack capacity due to illness or injury. She supports clients with a wide range of financial and welfare matters, including the management of substantial personal injury and clinical negligence awards, payment of care and rehabilitation costs, property and accommodation matters, and ongoing financial administration.

Sue works closely with clients, their families, deputies, case managers and other professionals to help ensure clients’ affairs are managed effectively and in their best interests, with a focus on promoting stability, independence and quality of life.

Sue has particular expertise in managing complex deputyship matters involving significant compensation awards and clients with long-term care and rehabilitation needs. She regularly assists with financial planning, budgeting, care funding arrangements and the coordination of support for individuals who have sustained life-changing injuries or who require ongoing assistance due to serious illness or disability.
