Session overview
Join our in-person breakfast seminar on 22nd April, where we will explore recent and upcoming employment law changes and what they could mean for your business.
Our expert lawyers will provide practical insights tailored for employers, covering the following topics:
Andy Whiteaker, Partner and Head of Employment, will be looking at the Employment Rights Act, which received Royal Assent in late 2025 and signals a period of substantial change. With the new provisions being gradually implemented over the next couple of years, employers need to act now to ensure they are best placed to minimise risk and successfully adapt to the new rights and obligations. Andy will identify the key upcoming changes and outline best-practice steps for employers.
Chris Harber, Partner and Head of Immigration, will provide an update on the current business immigration system, including the latest skills and salary thresholds, as well as an overview of the earned settlement consultation.
We will also be joined by Will Morris, Founder of Profectus Recruitment, a local recruitment firm specialising in the UK tech sector. Will, will share practical insights on how companies can improve hiring outcomes for hard to fill technology roles. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in the UK tech market, the talk will focus on moving beyond job adverts and traditional recruitment methods, using targeted search and effective candidate engagement to secure the talent others struggle to find.
We would be delighted if you could join us for what promises to be an insightful and engaging session.
