Boyes Turner has advised on an acquisition for a leading international agri-services company to complement its amenity business portfolio in the UK. 

The corporate transactions team from Boyes Turner acted for Origin Enterprises plc on its acquisition of Greentech Limited. 

Origin provides specialist on-farm agronomy services, digital agricultural services and supplies crop technologies and inputs. Origin is headquartered in Dublin and operates in seven countries internationally. Green-tech is the UK’s leading manufacturer and distributor of landscaping, forestry and grounds maintenance equipment. 

The acquisition is expected to enhance the offering of Origin’s amenity businesses and offer potential in the area of environmental land management and bio-diversity enhancement for the group’s agri-focused businesses.

Boyes Turner advised Origin on the acquisition, as well as employment law and commercial property issues. The acquisition team was led by Chris Dobson, corporate partner at Boyes Turner. He said:
