Claire is a partner and experienced Tribunal Advocate who has specialised in employment law since qualifying in 2003. She is praised by her clients for providing pro-active and pragmatic advice and for “uncomplicating the complicated.
In addition to providing strategic HR advice, her practice encompasses defending complex discrimination claims and managing high-level exits on behalf of corporate clients, many of whom are household names in the Technology and Leisure and Hospitality sectors.
Claire also leads the firm’s gender pay gap reporting service and supports her clients in their employee diversity and inclusion strategies.
In addition to her employment law expertise, Claire also specialises in Business Immigration and advises multinational clients on global mobility, visas, and sponsorship compliance. Claire’s in depth knowledge of both employment law and immigration law enables her to give rounded advice to her clients on these complex areas.
A contributing author to Bloomsbury Professional’s annual “Termination of Employment” publication, her articles also frequently appear in business magazines.
Claire acts as a professional mentor to students at the University of Law, Guildford and her professional memberships include the Law Society, the Employment Lawyers Association, the European Employment Lawyers Association and the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association.
