Westmede Properties acquires Coda Studios in Fulham for residential redevelopment

Boyes Turner has advised the Westmede Properties Group on its acquisition of Coda Studios, a multi-let office and retail complex in Fulham, which will be redeveloped into residential dwellings to help meet local housing demand.

The transaction highlights Westmede’s commitment to increasing London’s housing supply alongside its existing portfolio. The redevelopment is expected to deliver circa 100 new homes, with a projected gross development value in excess of £70 million.

The acquisition completed within four weeks of receipt of the sales pack, supported by a coordinated approach across Boyes Turner’s specialist teams. Lauren Ainsley, Senior Associate in the Development and Housebuilding team, led the matter, working closely with George Panteli, Partner in the Commercial Property team. Michelle Streeter, Associate, supported on due diligence in relation to the numerous existing occupancies, and Andrew Whitaker, Partner in the Employment team, also provided tailored advice helping to ensure that all aspects of the acquisition were properly addressed and the client’s interests protected.
