A unique opportunity to gain an insight into what it is like to work for our law firm
We use the vacation placement scheme to identify potential recruits for our training contracts. The placement also allows you to find out if you would like to train with us.
During the placement week, you will spend time working in different practice areas and will be required to undertake real fee-earning work. This is likely to include research, drafting letters, attending client meetings and attending court and you will work closely with a current trainee during your time in each group in addition to working with numerous lawyers and Partners.
Attending the vacation placement is a full time commitment and students are expected to attend the whole placement. Normal working hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday with one hour for lunch. Please note we are unable to offer accommodation or travel reimbursement for travel associated with the vacation scheme.
COVID-19 Vacation Scheme update
Due to current circumstances we are unable to offer the vacation scheme so are not accepting applications at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation and will open the application process when we are in a position to be able to offer the placements.
